Authors of papers presented at this conference and within the scope of IOPscience Journal of Neural Engineering may submit a technically extended version to the Special Issue of Journal of Neural Engineering - "Metrological Frameworks for integration of Neural Engineering and extended Reality".

This Special Issue welcomes researchers across the domains of Metrology, Brain-Computer Interface, eXtended Reality (XR), and Artificial Intelligence, encouraging fruitful interdisciplinary collaboration. The suggested topics for this special issue encompass, but are not restricted to: neural data-based interactive virtual agents, bio-neurofeedback combining XR and neural engineering, biosignals-based monitoring mental states, data fusion approaches for exploring brain activity, domain adaptation and generalization for detecting mental states based on biosignals, standardization of XR stimuli in psychometry.

ABOUT THE JOURNAL

The goal of Journal of Neural Engineering (ISSN: 1741-2552) is to act as a forum for the interdisciplinary field of neural engineering where neuroscientists, neurobiologists and engineers can publish their work in one periodical that bridges the gap between neuroscience and engineering. It publishes articles in the field of neural engineering at the molecular, cellular and systems levels.
